Plantation Nepal

Support for Livelihood

Understanding the impact of tree plantation on livelihoods is crucial for achieving positive outcomes. Local communities are the primary beneficiaries of forest resources and play a vital role in protecting plantation areas. Thus, the relationship between forests and livelihoods is deeply intertwined. Forests provide essential resources for the daily activities of local residents, making it imperative to utilize these resources sustainably.

Our organization’s long-term goal is to enhance local livelihoods through forest restoration. In addition, we have been distributing fruit and grass plants to the local community to support agriculture and animal husbandry. We actively engage local residents in establishing nurseries, producing and planting nursery plants, and maintaining planted areas. Through this project, many individuals have gained employment opportunities, which has become a means to support their families.
