Leasehold forests are designated areas of land that are managed under specific agreements, typically involving local or marginalized communities. These forests are often crucial for the livelihoods of these groups, providing resources such as timber, food, and other forest products. Supporting plantation activities in these areas not only contributes to environmental sustainability but also empowers local communities. We prioritize engaging with the marginalized groups who hold leases to the forest. This involves understanding their needs, challenges, and aspirations regarding forest management and plantation efforts. The Leasehold forests in which we are currently working are mentioned below in the table:
| S.N | District | Leasehold forest |
| 1 | Nawalpur | Gijan danda LF, Bhadauri LF, Lankuri danda ,Beshar danda LF, Chattiwan Public area |
| 2 | Sindhupalchok | Bhanjyangkhola LF |
