Plantation Nepal

The plants produced in the nursery are planted in public lands, including national forests, community forests, and conservation areas, as well as on private properties and other lands. We do not promote monoculture plantations; instead, we plant seedlings in a scattered pattern rather than in rows. For our planting, we maintain a spacing of 2 meters by 2 meters. This mixed planting approach emulates natural forest conditions.

We prioritize planting local varieties that meet the specific needs of the community, employing individuals from local populations in the process. Participants in the plantation activities receive financial benefits, as we focus on afforestation methods that are locally feasible and economically viable. Additionally, the fruits and ornamental plants produced in our nursery are distributed free of charge to individuals in the community.
